You were the one who was always there for me, you ignored my mistakes and impurities

You saw the scars, but you didn’t care

You were the one who was always there

You held me when I pushed you away

You spoke the words that I couldn’t say

You were the light to guide my way

…yes that was very cliché

You held me together when I fell apart

You showed me love after my heart was ripped out

Through it all you never once doubted

And for that I thank you from the bottom of my heart

^^ These lines are perfect, the way anyone would want to feel like, to have someone see you hurt, to see the scars yet brush them off, because they care that much. this is a soulful piece, amazing :)
