The Meltdown Of The SunA Poem by DearSweetAgony
Anger?..whats the point?
I can't unleash such a beast
for two reasons
1: I would fall off of my high white horse and possibly break my neck.
2: I can't let them see me down, I can't turn down the light.
The life of the sun, some would think that this life is perfect.
But to be truthful, it's tiring.
They cut me with insults but I can't cry
Those tears would show that I'm human.
But I am not human, I can't be human.
I am the sun
I can't get angry and cut back
My anger would show that I'm angry and anger is a human emotion.
I am not human, I can't be human.
I am the sun
I can't let this burden of existence show sorrow
Sorrow is a human emotion and I am not human
I am not human
I am not human
I am not human
I am not human
I am the sun
