I'm falling off of a cliff,into a river of lost emotions.I try to stop the rush of falling

but gravity defies me....

Those emotions,

These emotions,

The white powder hits my nostrils,I try not to breathe

but my nose defies me...

I feel no emotions.

Not those emotions,

Not these emotions,

I wake up in a place unknowed and I hear the voices,voices I have heard before

I try not the listen but my ears defy me.....

These voices

Those voices

Loud voices

I've tried to obey to my medicine,and I've tried not to sink back into old bad habits,

but my self-control has defy me.....

I must silence the voices

these voices

those voices

SCREAMING voices

I..must..cut away all of the feelings,the emotions,the noises, THE VOICES...

I must cut away the PAIN,

BLOOD

VOICES

PAIN

NOISES

Silence...blood...no...more... sound.

the poem itself has a very unusual rhythm to it but its very good the way you repeat and drone into us what this person is going through. I also like the way the poem progresses steadily more panicky and out of control and then to cap it off a good use of font and sizing of text to get the message across. I felt it was a very powerful poem and a good read :)

Quite shocking, but I guess it's designed to do that. My mind has gone a bit muffled from staring at my screen so much, but I can confidently say that this was good, repetition was used well and the short sentences were very effective and had a big impact.
