I am the monster in your head.

I control all feeling,

I control all pain.

 

I am the monster you see from the corner

of your eye.

I am everywhere but nowhere.

I haunt you from afar.

I haunt you in the shadows.

 

I am the face you see in the back of your

mind.

I am the striking pain,

I am the painful feeling.

 

I am the grim reaper that yearns

for your soul.

I am the icy cold hand on your skin.

 

I am the knife thats entering your heart.

I am the knife that stabs you,

again,

and again,

and again,

and again.

I am the scarlet that stains my

stainless steel.

Scary, but also quite beautiful in it's harshness. I like the way it's from the monster's point of view, not many people can write poems or stories that way. I also like the imagery. Well written.
