Dear Miss Merciful.

Dear Miss Merciful.

A Story by Taylor Kellan
"

It's not finished, very old, and I still can't place it in any certain category.

"
Dear Miss Mercy,

“This precious time I've spent watching you unfortunately has come to it's conclusion. Your ways have my days numbered. By the end of this starless night, my last breath will have taken it's toll”…

… “Although you don't know my name, I know everything there is to know about you. The brightness of your eyes never fail to interline the horizon. The redness in your lips send me feverish temptations, And your smile.. That smile. Has made me blush a number of countless times, as the hairs on your head, Which I have counted three times over…”

Though I compare you to these most beautiful of things, You are unlike anything I've ever seen or heard of, And may only the most skilled of nightingales sing your lullaby. I can promise you, You've never glanced upon my direction, Or have been close enough for your sweet breath to dance upon my cheek. I'm something you've never heard of, Something this world isn't familiar with. Something that even with a beautiful mind like yours, Couldn't comprehend the complexity of. And the number of sins that come sown beneath my skin, has kept me in the shadows of this world, A world that I would never be accepted in. A world, That would become indulged in sin, If as anything as a unfamiliar heartbeat came into light. And this curse, has been keeping me away from touching the most elegant of creations. You, My love, My everything. My inspiration to keep breathing in this painful concoction, I will never meet you. But I'm letting you know my existence, has taken a trace on your heart.

The polluted air of this planet has kept me gasping for breath since the moment my footprint burnt the flesh of this unsteady soil. My silhouette is bruised and scarred, For the Sun has burnt deep outlines around my heart, But I promise you they can't take something that doesn't belong to them. Heaven and Hell can compete, But all the while, My heart loses a beat every time the minute hand reaches it's next number. Before their arguments reach their dawn, My heart will no longer have a place in existence.

I’ve seen things no one in this world could handle, Things that could bring the bravest of men to their knees. But for me to describe this in words would be sin to the eyes. Few creations have an understanding like mine. I’ve seen the world from the cast of every shadow.
