Pink KittyA Chapter by Rae "I want the kitty." "The brown one or the white one?" "No, Haley, the pink one. I want the pink one. She's perfect." "Okay, pink kitty it is. We'll take this one." "Wonderful choice! Would you like to stuff her or do you want me to?" "I think she wants to." "She looks like she's twenty. I thought it was yours." "Uh, no, do I look like I would pick a pink cat over a zebra or something?" "No, but meanwhile she looks like she would've been the one to bring you here, not the other way around." "Is there someone else that could help us? I don't want a fight to break out." "You plan to hurt me?" "Yes, if you say one more thing about her. She has brain damage. Is Cindy working today? She usually helps us." "Oh... Uh... Yeah, she is. I'll go get her. I'm so sorry, I had no idea." "Psh. No problem." "Kat and Haley, I haven't seen you girls for a few months!" "Hi, Cindy. I want this pink kitty." "She's gonna look nice on your bed, isn't she? Well, let's go to the stuffing machine. Do you want to do it?" "Yeah! I love stuffing them." "Alright! Let's go then." "Uh, Cindy? Is there a mirror I can use? I just bought some colored contacts and I want to see how they look." "Oh, sure. It's right there." "Thanks." Well, putting contacts in is much harder than it looks. I poked my eye countless times and my makeup began to run after about thirty seconds. But once I had the first one in, the second was easier. It was so worth it, though. I looked so different that Cindy stopped the stuffing machine to stand up and get a closer look. Kat clutched her freshly-sewn doll to approach me. Obviously, this would take some getting used to. © 2011 RaeReviews
