short burst of light

just a short quick poem i wrote spontaniously for someone who means alot to me

A light that shines like a bright summers day,

And that which rises on the morn',

Twas that which i had longed to say,

Your beauty had my words away,

But you i wished long to stay,

For i hoped that with the passing of time,

Your love one day i could call mine.

poems i have always enjoyed and most of mine are just wrote and just happen i dont think about just about what im feeling at the time i hope readers can see where im coming from here

Awww, sweet. I loved the rhyme in it, it made it flow nicely and smoothly. "Twas that which i had longed to say, / Your beauty had my words away" I love those two lines, they're really beautiful.
