KNOWING


She surveyed the subtle differences
between
the reality of the situation and the fiction she had created
Feeding on hatred
and
resonating pain
coupled with discord
She had anticipated the struggle from within
either way
she had even calculated this sort of reaction
but
by someone with far less intelligence
than
had been portrayed up until this point
So, she sits
in hopelessness
bitter desperation
always in search
of
a solution
throw her hands up in defeat
or
dream of an opponent worthy enough
to stand up to her indecent,
emotionless reveries
