Conflict

Conflict

A Poem by Deandra Dawn

CONFLICT

Her mind had been made up,
the decision had been made.
One soft kiss to your lips,
her fingers tracing the outline of your
subdued face.
Passion dissipating,
madness behind her
hazel eyes.
The light in her face
slowly begins to fade,
melting into the twilight
like lost memories
looking for new existence.
Fulfilling nothing,
craving everything.
Her struggle written within
the lines of her deceit
