Confusion

Confusion

A Poem by Deandra Dawn
"

Not my usual style, at all...wrote this in a few minutes with whatever popped into my head at the moment. I haven't written anything in a really long time..this is the first of hopefully many more.

"

Confusion

My heart aches

tears falling

wanting

feeling

the earth moves as your hands explore

Mixed emotions encompassing my being

wanting to cry out, beg you to stop, but

dying for more.

Is this who I have become?

Who, what am I?

A soundless scream echoes throughout my mind

oblivious to the torments my soul is exuding

loving it but hating you...

all at the same time.

Confusion lingers for the last seconds past an ecstasy

never to be forgotten

My truth is what I live by,

yours is what you fashion out of the sand,

falling through my fingertips like the time fading away

into oblivion

Thoughts scattered

quiet

so quiet

blissful ending to an

imperfect beginning

I like this thought...truth buried within you..but contrived by someone whose truth changes to suit the situation.
Nicely done Deandra...

A new look and take from your work. This was strong and heartfelt at the same time. It had a tone of the title, Confusion, of emotions, feelings, longing, wanting, and it all blended well to a nice, and loving work.

Well done, friend.
