Petals Have Fallen

Petals Have Fallen

A Poem by Deaidre Newby
"

Being available and supportive.

"
All your petals have fallen
Left you lumped and broken hearted
Like Niagara Falls your tears are calling
For a place of shade
Someone to come to your aide
Here I stand
Partly faded
Unsure of what to say
But I stay
To catch the floodgates of your tears
To catch all your fears
Your doubts
And cast them in the biosphere
So my dear
Rest
Rest your head upon my heart
And don't depart
For you know true love can heal any broken heart
No I can't replace
Or even erase those loving faces
But, if you continue to embrace
And lean on me to help, end your emotional race
And taste
Yes, taste my loving grace

This is a very sweet poem, I love how it flows. It shows love toward someone who is hurting, which I like. The only thing that I would suggest to change is Partly fade to Partly faded, it would flow better that way in my opinion.

Good Job
