City of the MoonA Poem by DeadwingThis one is means i'm finally back on writing... talks about a past love (that actually still remians) that changed my wolrd...
City of the Moon
A rain of ashes falling on me
Back lighting silhouette of goring pain
Telling me to find some eyes for me to see
And a hand to cut out of despair
Cut off more than you can bear
Alternate worlds, alternate blood
Seven lies waiting to be unfold
And if the ashes were trapped on me
You’d be free to walk the earth
Without any truth, any greed
The sun burns the light away
Shadows will embrace the earth
My mind will die among those
The pandemonium of ghosts
Lost their faith among my false belief
Parallel ends, sick ones to maintain
Alive and hungry for despair
Here, deeper than the infinite
I’m waiting for the stars to arrive
And end the suffering the whole world dropped on me
Years burning with you inside
Endless fields of fire and tears
A ghost whispered your name
And now I’m here, waiting your silhouette to embrace what remains
Of me
And a whole book in blank
With three years of lost thought
A never-ending eclipse back lighten you
And with a finger you heal the burns
Heal the faith to let it die again
Ghosts with voice on their own
Destroyed the last moon
Yelling fire to the last home we’ve had
And grey from the ashes on clouds
Cover the sun with a massive monsoon
Embracing our city of the moon
