So This Is What Love Is Like...

So This Is What Love Is Like...

A Poem by Dylan Rhodes
"

What trails the flowing energy?

"
The songs of birds
The sound of wind
What must it mean

What trails the flowing energy?

Calmness
Breathing
Acceptance
Its Soothing

Emotion loves to lay with me
And I, with her
Every night is like a dream
...or so I've heard

Feelings arising
Memories are of a blur
Questions, mesmerizing
Why must it be so absurd?

What trails the flowing energy?

Suspicion
Resentment
Second guessing
But I am still content

And as we lay face-to-face
Why must we become distracted
I realize now what I embrace
Its the thrill of attraction
But still, why the distraction?

I see the beauty in all creations
You see the potential for manipulation
But what I'm looking at is not your enchanting glow
I'm looking behind you...
Through the window

What trails the flowing energy?

Depression?
The rain above?
No...
Its love

Dylan Rhodes,

Absolutely.

I pause, I ponder, I engage with racing thoughts as the words spill from my mind yet refuse to become physical upon this page.

The many meanings behind one simple word it is crazy to acknowledge this uncommon knowledge. What did he mean by that…? Exactly~

Biting my lip, pain embraced; exceptional, powerful, filling and curious.

Encouraging these words to show face, nay, not a one –
have, they not reached maturity?

I must tell you in the most simplistic way I can, you have created a masterpiece one that currently leaves me dumbfounded in my expression of appreciation.

Thank you for that.

Most Enjoyed,

Legacy

This to me was a poem about trust, and the person is not completely sure they know what they are getting into, this doubt and hesitation in the experience is a curiously masculine state of mind.

This has a calming effect on me although it has different slants that stir other emotions but regardless it is a treasure.
