June

June

A Poem by Dead Leaves
"

Sunshine-sickness

"

Please No CSS

June will visit all too soon

Meekly warming your soul

She will creep though curtains to cast light on the dust

And blind you to the written word.

June will expel the shadows, as she takes her seat

She will beam at you until you are lethargic

Most writers refer to sunshine as something synonymous to life. This is rather insinuating the opposite, taking it as something dark and unproductive. It's like witnessing the birth of darkness as the ray of light crawls over the earth's atmosphere. This is looking at something from a different perspective. Very unique.
