WaitingA Poem by DeBloyceGarble written while waiting
Waiting
It's just continuous And frustrating Births, deaths, contracts Deliveries, friends, opening hours on a Sunday. The last 30 seconds of that eBay order Busses, trains, aeroplanes All just a waste of Time And yet here I am, sat here, wasting it, nibbling at words, feeling my a*s go numb on a wooden chair, waiting for that ping, or ting, or whatever that sound is that alerts everyone that you're all important and have a message on your phone. I'm not important I am impatient And that's the 23rd time I've checked Waiting Always Waiting © 2016 DeBloyce |
