High Hopes

Disappointing isn’t it.? Heartbreaking overall when that soul has promised you more than what they could offer, and failed to do every single thing that they said they would, (the thousands of promises they made). You had the thought of them failing sunk in your mind but yet you trusted them and actually believed in them. High hopes you had of them, because high hopes is what they offered you. It is purely sad, it was more than what they were able to handle because you are what they can’t imagine their lives without. So it is evident that they will say anything that comes to their mind for you to stay knowing they will fail you. And here you are, the hopeless romantic feeding on their lies that are disguised as hopes and dreams. Disappointing isn’t it..they did the one thing they always stated would never happen..leave.
