A Poem by DeannaK

Cringing red blood,fiery hot
Shiny silver bells, cold to the touch
My blood burns as it flows through my veins
The power within me still reigns
Ding ding, ding ding in my ear
Laughter Humiliation louder than fear
He leads me
I fear no evil
Tho the light has dimmed
Darkness crept upon me
My heart still beating shrieks in pain
I sit searching for answers through the window pane
My blood once boiling to the touch, now blue
Those bells turned to rust into an ugly hue
Slowly I lead myself to death
Not a care in the world as I take my last breath
I peered in the mirror not only to see
A dying girl glared back at me
1,2,3,4,5
When will I die
The clock struck 12...01
My life had finally begun
In the afterlife I stood proud with joy
My body lies there lifeless but…now it's time to destroy
The melancholy song plays throughout my home
Here lies the body of her,was written on my headstone.
