Poured Out On The Page

A love poem.

I penned a poem just for you

each word filled with a love so true

my heart wrote every line with it's beat

choosing only words so very sweet.

My love poured out across the page

feuled beyond the lover's full gauge

as thoughts and feelings tumbled out

like water flowing unchecked from a spout.

Warmth and tenderness rang sweet and clear

sending ripples straight to your ear

reaching down to your very soul

as you are my other half that makes me whole.

Only you can fill me with this inspiration

that I get from longing and loving sensation

so please read each word as it lays open there

and realize just how very much I truly care.
