When no comfort could be found

I found it in your arms.

When the world was bleak and drear

I saw enchantment in your charms.

When I felt bereft and all alone

your kisses soothed me.

When I wanted to quit and give up

you wouldn't let me be.

When I looked for something bright

I found your eyes of blue.

When I looked for love

that's when I found you.
