a most cherished treasure

always bringing me pleasure

with just a twinkle in your eye

the up-turned corner of your smile

the gentle touch of your work worn hand.

you are my truest delight

my brave and shining knight

who makes my world seem right

with tender words softly spoken

by the strength of your presence

by your unfailing belief in me.
