Love Is Like A River

A love poem.

Love flows threw my veins

like a river that can not be stopped

when someone tries to dam it up

if still breaks free and flows on.

No matter what others say

or even what ever you do

for some crazy reason

I can't seem to stop loving you.

When I gave you my heart

it was with my pledge and token

that I would love you unconditionally

for better or worse as cliche as that sounds.

This love I have for you is so deep

it is an unending fountain

bubbling up and overflowing

spilling all over you.
