Contrasting Rose

Contrasting Rose

A Poem by Daytonight
"

A love poem.

"
Soft and gentle
shy as a dove
is the special one
I call my love.

Yet when we are
alone in the night
passion breaths fire
as she holds me tight.

Her colors change
from a white so pure
to vivid red
of a woman self-assured.

An angel in the morning
when we start the day
yet in the dark of the night
her passion carries me away.

I definitely got the romantic side of this. Nicely filled with similies and metaphors.
