Shattered Dreams

Shattered Dreams

A Poem by Daytonight
"

Hurting

"
Broken trust
shattered dreams
scattered like dust
devoid it seems.

Heart is breaking
no bandaid will do
hands are shaking
trouble breathing too.

Don't understand
all of this mess
was it too great a demand
I can't fathom a guess.

Left lost and lonely
dazed and confused
you were my one and only
now I feel so used.

Why do so many PLAY others when there are so many better things to do, kissing and cuddling trumps fighting and schememing every day of the week, so if he is hurting you so cut him loose and look else where he is not deserving of such romantic poetry and such a heart. keep your chin up sis and keep em' coming

So many wishes...
so many dreams.
...and we look so deep within
and life takes so much away.

Take care,
Chris

There are alot of bad feelings that can be felt.....but, in my opinion, the feeling from being used is probably in the top 5. Not alot compares to the feeling of putting all your energy into handing over your heart and soul to someone, only to have them rip it away and throw it on the ground...wow, I just said feeling way too many times....but great poem!

Life is definitely an enigma. Some say life is a dream , but as it is said here dreams a re repeatedly shattered. It is a way of life and I think not to worry and not to feel used.
An excellent piece of poetry. Clear and succinct. I enjoyed the reading

Broken trust is often something we deal with as some of our loved ones have a untrusting nature. I mean it is so like it that the ones close to us are the ones with the power to hurt us the most. Very well done.

Such sadness, such loss your soul ripped apart, why did he take a piece of your heart. So well done, my friend!
