His HandsA Poem by DaytonightHow different one pair of hands can be.Hands so soft and tender they cradle a newborn with care, yet at night when lights are out can grab hold and pull my hair, or gently lift a child up who has tumbled to the ground, but come night time baby they turn my world upside down. Hands that are so patient teaching a little boy to fish, yet come our time together impatiently fulfilling every wish, so very warm and gentle when wiping tears from an eye, yet so strong and firm with passion they leave me breathless with a sigh. © 2011 DaytonightAuthor's Note
