My Love

From a simple touch,
My feelings are clear,
My face reddens,
Every time you come near,
A simple touch to my face,
Makes it so clear,
That I truly love you my dear.

You are the first love,
I have ever loved so,
Your kisses where exquisite,
passionate
I never wanted to let go.

When you hugged me,
I felt safe, warm near your chest,
You captured my heart,
You may, if you wish, have the rest.

I remember that time,
When I had confessed,
You where clueless and flushed so red,
You looked so happy,
But a little confused,
And you then asked,
"Why like a fool like me?
But I like you too."

Widening my eyes,
I hugged you so tight,
You looked so shocked,
But then held me with all of your might.
We both felt the same,
So our love was great.
That's when it all began,
On our very first date.

Again lots of positives in this but it appears to sway between rhyming and free verse. Rhyming poetry constrains the writer and is technicallly more difficult to do.

My fantasy of love is really weird haha, but i've never actually been properly in love with anyone haha :')
It's hard for 'me' to believe I actually writ this, but I just imagine how people must feel and what they go through during the time there in love :)
