What They DoA Poem by Dayranby Dayran
There's a tall story I heard, Of gallantry inspired deeds. Many a tale we come across, That promises and preach. Yet what they do is else, Living and driving themselves, Each an object of nature, Entirely actual in actions. And when we view their talk, We ought to be kindly nice, The way we engage ourselves, To entertain, while we talk, Is not such a great fault, It's a story of sorts, enough, A pastime that we find needing, How does anyone fool anyone else, When we all have eyes to see! So here's to the great shenanigans, The scoundrels and scalawags, I drink to you today, my friends, And if you will kindly be attentive, I have a bridge in town to sell.
