The Faith of Friends

The Faith of Friends

A Poem by Dayran

I get along with people without much problems,

But like a redbeard I like love to move along,

And not stay in one place, if you know what I mean,

I mean, we showed the world what civilization is,

I don't see why we seem to put that on the backburner,

It may be said so once in a while, I'm sure.

I'm at the straits at this time with my uncle and grandpa.

Frankly they don't care and figure that Hindu studies today,

Are borderline anyway. That's how my friends treated me,

In Rome. They rely on mystic Lyon for the faith, googah...booyah,

It's an act of love on my part but they don't know what faith is,

Even less do they understand what love is. My uncle will not let me,

Speak of it, because in his perfect world, I'm doing my duty for others,

The fuckers are the shakers and movers of the world and I have faith,

So....they need to be trim....so Lyon has to carry his brother,

I....I...I....can't say much more. Grandpa's in the garden,

I think I'll go see if he needs anything. He's great for a laugh.

This proves you can't have two prima donnas in the same place. Hopefully the world is big enough for them to work themselves out.
