The Boy Who KnewA Poem by DayranA mysterious & wonder filled child
His name is Ted, like the bear, But he can take any form of life. Speaks with the voice of a child, Responds to one's thoughts and actions, Relates to one's feelings and emotions, With purpose. Didn't realize it for a long time, Was just danged to take him seriously. But had taken a bad fall one day, Couldn't speak to anyone for a year or two, Lost and floundered in the pathless winds. Then Ted came along. My worst nightmare, Is how he introduced himself. He wasn't wrong, But there was more, he was my opposite. Why such a need? For the mind. Also because, In truth, we are always one but play at being Something else. 'You'll recover from this," he had said, But you'll always wonder about me and search for me For the rest of eternity. Son-of-a-b***h was right. He's in there and he's got it figured out, but, We have to learn it right and know why he is so. So the next time, you get a baby appearing in your dream, Know that its him. Half man, god and a new species of life, He'll show you the way, but you'll have to hold and not let go.
