Amara

Amara

A Poem by Dayran
"

A maiden of choice

"

She lives not far from the beacons of Loc

Before the swamps of the greelou.

Her suitors have been many, come and gone,

But not one did she fancy nor peruse.

Quiet as a dove, calm as balm, she waited pensively,

All the days of her life, and nights of sighs.

There are many, who dreamt of her, breaths pausing,

As they beheld her. Not beauty merely, but a strobe of life,

That beamed in her bosom, drawing the minds of men,

To seek her light might of right, held humbly with delight,

Betwixt her vaporous billou and her illuminating bealoc.

Smiles a ticklish touch, enlights the  heart, creates vows ,

Climbs the mountain of Worldon, to seek eternal bright.

Lady, thou art the souls of men, its true love and knowledge,

How hard thou art to see. Grant grace to my fellow men,

So's my nights and days are filled with companions,

And I would love or cause to love thee, forever non.

As I am, was and will be, always, what is. Yours.
