Had thoughts of God this week,

Would have normally avoided the issue.

Used to think I knew; a boy's infantile view,

Thought that's all it took, but turned out different.

Caused to search with all it took; an adult's view,

Came to see him too, minus the halo and true.

Said its what man makes of it, with heart and mind,

That's god's been there everytime we shied and punt.

Said he's here today, more so than anytime before,

Says man is gaining himself, in many different ways,

That we are more in his eyes than ever before.

He sees us in faith of one, not given much to learning,

In the love of the one who receives the crystallization,

Is the knowledge of the one who learns of the self.

Is asking us to speak to him, when we are able,

Or when we are sure, no one's looking. Is a start!
