A little pepper and salt is all it took To make the steak a meal that's cooked A taste of its juice, preserved in the food Savouring itself as flavors in a brook Nothing else, not a spice more, no tablecloth Like people eating fish in the raw Like a Genghis contemplating a world to draw Nothing here, not a thing, unless you bring to your What you'll make of it someday, your ideas that life adores Empty, void, lifeless to the core Bring something to it! a little flavor!
