The Juvana Rhyme Series - Aka ( Older Sister )

A Poem by Dayran
"

The Lady of the Earth

"

She played the lute, under the fruit

Soft melodies that rose to storms

Brought the stiffstaffs dancing onto the streets

Melodying, dancing and pulling on maiden's hair.

But like Georgie Porgie, kept running away.

The older sister knew what stiffstaff hid,

How he went crying to mommy

When she tossed him over the coals in the pit.

Cry baby, that he's been trying to forget

Wanted to join the army and then the national guard

Was until recently, chief of security at the Pentakard.

But it wasn't yet time for Aka to be a man

Until her older sister helped him move the stiffstaff

By drinking someplace else and then going to the bar.

Now, Aka is not Aka but Annan ( Older brother ).
