A New Theme

A New Theme

A Poem by Dayran
"

The Start of Something New

"

A new day, a new sway and way

Getting involved, be counted, make a difference.

Even a little is something more than nothing

A small effort each day is someday a mountain.

Go ahead, make a pick, choose the hardest

Find a spot, any where, to make begin.

It doesn't matter how, or where or why

Say its here, its now, it is mine.

A small success, a tiny achievement

Don't wait to compare, its irrelevant.

Some water, some light, and life sprouts

Tomorrow begins today, this time, this age.

Make it an age of reason with compassion

Get the god dammed sins into redemption.

Then a little more as the days go by

Till we build our own, the life divined.

Well-written and humbly presented. While I may not agree with every point, I certainly see value here.
Solid and appealing poem, Sri.

Sri,

I'm glad I came by. THIS one says something - an important something - in a way a person can readily understand, appreciate, and perhaps readily and easily grasp. It doesn't carry any pre-requirements of cryptology or cultural histories and mores. Its not limited to a region or state.

You spoke with awareness and heart. I listened and understood.

Thank you Sri.
