Albeit the Physical LawsA Story by DayranMind from matterNobody doubts the fact that the physical laws are immutable. It forms an assumption in us that is unquestionable. To engage in an act of so questioning … produces a sensation of the ridiculously sublime … like a moron living in the darkness of ignorance … dammed to perdition. Its the faith of the man of science … who swears by its correctness … nature in its purest form of will and volition. And yet we find its not always constant nor immutable … in specific instances … and we are bewildered by such discoveries.
There's a plane crash and one person walks away without a scratch. An innocent man in a system of laws … finds himself spared at the last minute on new proof emerging of his innocence. A swamy buries himself for three days … and emerges alive. A believer walks on live coals and is not burnt. A homeless man on the street … is given help by folks on youtube … to find an apartment and food. A man shot in the head survives … a patient that doctors gave up hope on … recovers. Its not too difficult to find such instances occurring … and we create an unbelievable acceptance for it … albeit with the notion that … its the exception rather than the rule.
But what accounts for it? In specific applications of the principle … we find a valuable lesson in the way the mind and body … reveals its miraculous working. A man standing in front of a naked woman … feels his impulses rushing … and the bodily fluids running riot. But in an accidental exposure of his daughter or sister in a similar instance … he feels no response. Is that something … quite significant … in proving physical laws wrong in specific instances?
Do civil rules and the social decorum of man … exercise an influence … in changing the physical laws … especially in relation to the body? Sexual activity in anima … practices a free and unrestricted relation with all … granted that the season is upon them. But in man … inbreeding … or marriages between cousins … has an impact on the health of the body … and finally renders … the specie not viable. Its the scourge of self love … enticing … tempting … but finally fatal in our pre-requisites for the preservation of life.
Our societies … create a culture and practice … of such concerns … and impose a normal ethic or taboo … against such free will in man … and conditions the individual from responding … to the plain physical laws. But in bringing that into knowledge … as a fact in man … not previously encountered in anima … it introduces something new to the mind of man. How man's knowledge of his needs … can change the laws of the body physical … both in him and in members of society. The American civil war … introduced the ethic of the freedom of all men … and the Mahabarata … as a war between cousins … stopped inbreeding.
Have our social laws and ethics … succeeded in arresting such faults? Would it make a difference if we knew it is a fact … of the human condition … and relied on the mind to regulate the body? In all such instances … the dictum is always … ' go find out yourselves. ' Certainly a person can toss aside the cultural wisdom of society … that he thinks is simply a block on his freewill. That's easy … but in doing so … he opens himself up to learning more about it … and perhaps … by his individual physical act of realization … comes to view it as fact.
Take for instance a priest … undertaking a service to society … on behalf of the divine forces. Everyone relates to him … physically … as a man of God. But does that induce him into saying … ' God and I are one' … in the way the Christ referred to the father? I saw a man kneeling before the altar … in a recent pic on CNN. He had written the words … ' Help me ' … on the soles of his shoes. Surely … that defines his needs in an urgent way … in relation to the issues. In considering the unique nature of the matter … should a man … create a special strive for the exception in this case … and prove physical laws wrong in that matter?
I've been having a leaking tap in my bathroom for a while and informed the owner of it. He brought the plumber … but I took the washers from him and announced to them … that I'll change it myself. They stared at me for a while … nodded … and went their way. Was that strange? Well … I'll feel funny about my daughter sharing my bathroom .. my sister … and yes … plumbers. Something about swimming in the same ocean … in my trunks … with everybody in the world.
Makes me want to sit and watch family quarrels on occasion … and pinpoint the issues of origin. Or the fact that a male … never learnt to exercise a sense of virtue about himself and in the way he deals with all else. On those very special occasions … I realize that the flavor of the food I consume … is influenced by what I thought of it … before I put it in my mouth. The mind can be your friend or your enemy … it depends on the way … we have come to view something as fact. Its like charity of course … over and above the dictates of survival.
And on all those occasions when we work for the unique exception … rather than the rule … we find ourselves a little on the edge of social norms … fearing that we'll wander too far. How would we even explain what we are doing? And when we have achieved that one thing … do we feel sheepish about it being just one thing? Obviously we contradict physical natures … by responding that … there's nothing …' just ' … about it. Its one man with a pistol. I met my house owner again in the afternoon … and I think he agrees.
