The Steps of the Valkyrie

Make me a soul

I feel an anxiety about this narrative. Its on account of the fact … that I'll be speaking of life … the soul … and attempting an expression of my insights on related issues. I've never been drawn to other people's account of what life and the soul is. There's a criteria … I look for in their writings … to convince myself that they are truly speaking of their insights. For if they were doing that … they will tell you they are a little anxious.

 

Simply put … I don't believe any longer that there's such a thing as the individual soul. There's the global and universal soul. For the soul … is simply a collection of memories … the Indics call … the cittas. Before the soul … is the naturally existing life. And by a series of our daily activities in a lifetime … we cultivate a certain quality of experience in that lifetime … that is referred to as the soul. In a sense its derived on a basis of time in creation and the world.

 

How we fill that  life with activity … in order to cultivate the soul … is what western literature … called the Valkyrie … or in the Indic … Walcare. The Indic term for life is … wooyir … the being is … jiva … and the soul is termed … atma.   The greater soul … be that the … global or universal is termed … Paramatma.The factors that make up the jiva comprise … the anima and man … as the beings of life. The factor that makes up the soul … is the non-being factor as domain … referring to the rocks …  plant life … and energy as world … the solar system … the milky way … and the universe.

 

A life lived in the world … creates responses to its environment … and experiences a content of life … we refer to as soul. The soul is therefore an instrument in motion … as an interaction between the individual and the world. Such content of the soul … moves through time … and its quality of being active is reduced due to a lack of relevance in the current life. At that point the soul of the past … is stored in us as memories … and provides a basis of continuity for the cultivation of a new soul. Its my view that historically … a soul … has a validity period of 2,000 years … and thereafter is inactive … with the rise of a new soul of the world.

 

What are these points of change to the soul? It has to be surmised that … a soul that has gone through a 2,000 year period … is coming to encounter a new nature of the environment … so different from the past … that it can no longer relate. Hence the old soul falls … diminishing our activity … and then rising anew to form a new range of activity … in response to the current phenomenon of existence. Therefore these phenomenal changes are not anything new in the human experience. We can when we are ready … create an acceptance for such.

 

The being is that which lives … moves … experiences metabolism … has a mind to think … and a heart to feel the passions. It comprises tissue that is sensitive to feel … and adorns the being … as the outward manifestation … of the life. The heart or the passions … is the main instrument that relates to the soul. The mind relates to the life. The jiva relates to the heart and mind … as a mix … that is an intuitive sense of its welfare … comfort and security. But it is possible to draw the two apart … to study the way they relate to each other.

 

Such an intuitive manner of the being … is common among anima. However in man … the trials of the passion … and a need to know … induced by the workings of the soul … tears the two of them apart. Thereafter … in the human experience … we learn … how the passion relates to mind and vice-versa.  The experience in man … comes under the theme of  … ' know thyself ' … and that is apparently not a suggestion. It is imperative that man comes to complete his experience of understanding … as the greatest being to-date … and move the evolutionary process forward.

 

Which brings me to the issue of why I'm anxious. Such thoughts that we engage … in the process of understanding … draws itself to an enthusiasm about life. However it is founded on the grounds of activity of the soul … that is a past experience. It is highly possible to come to understand the past … and in that understanding respond to our own enthusiasm for living … where such a living brings us into the future. And its there that we encounter the anxiety.

 

What ever we know about the past … brings itself into transformation in each life of the being … to be refined and related to its current environment and experience. That new experience … continues the process of destroying past knowledge … and re-cultivating it based on the new. There is no doubt ... an average standard of reference … drawn from the collection of past souls … but where it encounters significant new change … like the rise of a new genus of being of the future … we are stumped as to the well laid foundations of our knowledge … and scramble to re-organize.

 

The issue of stability versus change … is a formidable one. Life … and the way its extends into soul … by the working of the Valkyrie … can be smooth or very rough. When in a stable peace … we enact such adaptation to new conditions with ease … but in the uproarious clamor for change … we are driven like mindless robots … into the new experience. We refer to these influences today in our reviews … and cringe in horror at the over zealousness that came to occupy our minds. Its an anxiety that never stops. That would certainly explain why there will always be a need for beer.

 

Energy … in all the many ways we perceive its substance and content … seeks to cultivate life … and to cloth itself in being. Thereafter it seeks a quality of life … by the creation of the domain. This remark makes me curious about the existence of being before the creation of the stars and the planets. Its that is true … we can with some effort at insight come to perceive such a being. I expect that he will not be very different from man the being. It would be an astonishing meeting indeed. I hope he goes for beer.
