I expect to engage a specific issue in magic … in this narrative … that relates to the way … the body … organizes itself … by its own volition and intelligence … to manage the issues of creation and the living. Its the glory of magic … and is an exemplary demonstration of the working of the natural forces of creation … that first led man into … the garden of the Neolithic age … when man began to exercise his own power of thought.

 

Specifically … I'm referring to a period of about 5 years … between 2005 �" 2009 … when my mind … began an experience of contact with my body … that was the height of conflict in my disposition. It was to my understanding … the usual procedure in the study of self realization … and I was therefore unperturbed by any suggestion of wrongful practice. At this time … I am provided the opportunity to review … that experience and to place it in perspective.

 

It seemed to me I had then descended to a place that was dark … foreboding … and containing a thinly veiled threat about death. The place appeared like a war zone … with laser lights from the fires of rage … criss-crossing the landscape of my views. My body had taken on a temperature … that was consistent with being on fire. And in that condition … I continued to apply my mind … to guide the issues … away from cultural superstition … to a knowledge based view of human experiences.

 

I had as a companion … someone whom I called ' tech ' … who had some past experience with regard to the body's medical condition. He intimated to me … the risks we were encountering and advised … that I follow his guide on the exploration … or risk encountering something malignant in the way of disease. He had intimated that I was in an area of the human physiology … that is viral-bacteria in nature … and is primarily the instrument that preserves the body's health and auto-immunization systems.

 

It was my introduction … to the way magic … organizes the body and mind … in the engagement of a man's physical condition … and it referred to the constitution of the savage … living in the wilds. At this time … I am able to discern four aspects of the experience. There's the mind … the heart … and the Jiva ( Ulysses / Spermatozoa ). Then there's that which I've come to term as … Buddhiyog … or the soul … atma … of the being.

 

The Buddhiyog … is a condition … that represents the sum total of the evolutionary gains of the being … and is an informative record … of the activity of life … as it progressed through the phases of its development from the Jurassic to the iron age. The significance to human understanding … is simply the divide we went through … from anima to man. Its an experience of some delicate sensitivity … and today forms the heart of concern … around the initiatives we undertake to organize the world's society.

 

In an overview of the experience … what I found … is a pre-existing state of the Buddhiyog … from the stars … that followed a design of activity … and came into cultivation of the earth … then the trees … anima … then man. It first relied on the qualities of true love … then the preservation instinct … thereafter the heart … and in the human disposition … the manasa or passion. Along the way … it engaged some instrumentation for separating its qualities of being based on body … light … sound … sight … and touch. And thereafter … knowledge … and the will that accompanies it.

 

My task as I saw it was to discern the many divisions in the Buddhiyog … to understand their nature … and where I was keen to establish my own identity as man … to set out a separation consistent with such an enthusiasm. This I set about doing … during the 5 year period … with some re-allocation of impulses … and my relation to them. Of great significance … was my relation to the sexual impulse.

 

It occurred to me then … that the incidences of health maladies … are related to our body's management of its needs … based on its purpose and circumstances. Its what the Indics refer to as karma. I was given a general overview … of the prognosis accompanying conditions such as … autism … Alzheimer's … heart attacks … stroke … brain tumors … leprosy and cancer. The prognosis … of the condition called … mental instability … and physically challenged … came into view as extensions … of aggravated conditions.

 

These days … when I think of my visit to the … laser field … I'm reminded of how it came to be viewed by the early explorations of man … as a constant battle … as depicted in the Mahabarata … or Beowulf. Its not a place to visit … for which a man waits for an invite. Certainly the male hormonal drives … that burst into qualities of courage … trial by combat … and the outrage of injustice … are strong motivations for a man … to descend to such a field.

 

On balance … its not too difficult to view our experiences of evolutionary progression … as being assisted by the mind and its knowledge or the heart and its preferences. However at some point … we do find the need to maintain a proper balance between the two … no matter what our extroverted impulses declare that to be. It is also … the partnership between the creator and man … in the common development of both in the life.

 

I find great comfort … in the descriptions of the role of science … in advancing the human condition away from the pre-Neolithic. These days they are working with alpha wave equipment that may moderate the mind … or pharmaceutical remedies like dopamine … that overcomes the blocks of signals in the nervous system. I on the other hand … have not visited a doctor for anything in over … 25 years.

 

Would magic need an informed organization around itself for its greater management. I for one will not recommend that everybody do what I did. Too boring. It helps to have some magic around. Surely we can up-date on the old Wiccan cooking pots … and bring that into the light of modern science. You think? I think the last time … the old Wiccan tried their improvements on life … she turned me into a toad.
