The First LadyA Story by DayranFreyja of the VikingsShirley Temple … the child actress was once asked … to cry in a scene … to which she had asked … ' How far do you want my tears to go? Half-way down my face … or all the way?' Certainly some of us … bring a greater degree of self control to what we do. I'm thinking however … that its not control. There are those of us … who get help during the phase of the positive bias (*) in our lives. And in the recollection of that experience … we figure we have a friend … with regards to the arts of man … who has helped us before.
In the past we referred to the fates or destinies … in the way we were favored … with respect of a task … in the cause for the advancement of mankind. In a lot of ways … we perceive that today … in the nature of individual understanding … and the advancement of learning. The effect it generates today … is distinctly different … from that previously. We have moved away from heroes … the promises of fame … and financial rewards … instead we are tasked to do it for ourselves.
The overt sense of positive bias … in the world's societies … is diminishing. Its moved from the usual mob appeal … to one of finer content … and details … in the arts. Makes me wish for the good old days sometimes … because I hate being fussy … and more than that … I hate losing that general feeling … of good … about every body. But it tells me … ' Don't you want to feel that for real?' Yeah … okay … I loved the act most.
Which brings me to the first lady in creation … that I met in my journeys. And the excitement of the discovery … is causing me to suspend my usual rule … about avoiding controversy. I'm thinking … she's Freyja of the Vikings. She engages a powerful celt vision … that has appeared to me in 3-D … and I'm astounded at how she might do that. Thereafter … when Venus came on the scene … we had the first intimations … of the concern for fertility and childbirth in man. The distinction is important. It would create the reason for referring to Freyja as mother of progeny … and Venus as mother of man.
As mother of progeny … Freyja is expected to govern all life … while Venus represented the portion that broke away … to cultivate a separate set of qualities … consistent with the thinking man … from that of the general denizenry. In the play they engaged with each other … the view that emerges is that … there was only one mind … and a closer view of their relations … indicates a certain back and forth … on issues … that is consistent with one mind.
The inquiry we face … in the cultivation of the humanity ideal … is that … it obviously doesn't stop there. So where does it go? In a clear separation of the mind from the passions … it frees the passions to discover its original nature. Freyja's relation to nature … the elements … and the trees … came into representation in our recent experiences … as the fairy tree … fairies … hobbits … magicians … the King … and the suggestions by JRR Tolkien … of the return of the King … to his rightful place on the throne.
Indic literature on King Indra … of the Vedas … depict him as God and King of the world. He is also related to the Purusha factor … which together with Prakriti … are the primordial sources of the origin of creation. And King Indra … together with Vayu ( wind ) … and Agni ( fire ) … were worshiped before the advent of Krishna … who is supposed to have revolted against Indra … for the cultivation of man. That would place him … in the company of Freyja of the Vikings.
In the present concerns … for the development of mind … our interest center around study … and what science brings to us … in documented evidence of the physiology of the human body … its flesh and tissue … its cell structure … and the brain. What science has not done … is to document the workings of the heart … and its relation to a big part of the human experience … as the passions.
On account of the non-verifiability of the passions … man appears to have dismissed completely … the role of the passions … on the mind. Certainly the mind is recognized as an instrument of study … logic … reason … and is a store of memory. It records its experiences … and converts that to knowledge … that is relied on for future application. However our experiences with mind … makes note of the omission … that the mind enters into … of the physical nature of the living … in which the passions play a major role. It tends to be a feature of the male personality.
And that is why … I'm inclined to think that my experiences with the first lady … is not about a lady at all … but is the overmind of the passions … in the engagement of a woman's body. It would explain the contact the women make with mind … via their passions … and owing to the historical origin of their relations … a woman tends to think that … she's attached to the mind … in a play in which … the male is the primary driver of the work of the mind.
The effect is to deny the woman … the opportunity to discover the wide world of the passions … which is the companion to the mind … and is the essential tool for social integration. And sadly … its women themselves … who create the greatest block to their advancement … into the joyous organization of the passions … and its reflection of creation. The issue … comes to review … regarding the separation of man from the general progeny.
My concluding remarks on these … are obliged to identify the male … as the driver for the advancement of the human condition. The women … it would appear … are cultivating the next advancement … beyond the human … and we would certainly come to greater information on that … when that happens. I think it may have caused the diminishing of the Olympian Gods … and its my view that their resurrection … would bring a new emphasis to the male … for the development of the human. This will no doubt impact on the gender issue … for some time to come. (*) ... See Old Man Lear © 2015 Dayran |
