Happy Hunting GroundsA Story by DayranA return to simplicityFor the Native Americans … it is the place that the warrior goes to after death. The belief is probably best brought to our attention by the Lakota tribe of the Northern Plains. The belief was also there … in the Roman experience as the Elysian fields … or the Valhala of the Vikings … Avalon of the Celts … and so forth. In general … the Christian and other faiths relied on the same belief … in their depiction of heaven … as a place of the after life.
My insights on the issue … takes after a common sense perception of the experience … and would lack the romantic appeal of the original. I figure such grounds refer to a point of light … that is related to the stars … in which all things are possible. Its a part of mind … and it draws on every desire and impulse … to engage us in the gratification of such impulses … with the benefit of our body.
And there it stays until the individual … be that the Native American … Roman … Viking … or Celt … returns to his life in his loka … after a journey through other lives in other parts of the world loka. And this point of light … in the highest experience of the gnosis … serves as man's motivation … his destiny … and is the basis of his sexual drives. On death … it leaves and moves into another life … where another aspect of the instruments of the life … lives to advance its development.
And what we refer to as an advancement … would be the way in which … each life works at understanding its part … in relation to the whole. The way it began … its contact with manifested existence … was to present itself to the inquirer … as a united whole … living in complete harmony with itself. Our cultures have preserved the sense of the experience … as Utopia in the modern world … pre-spanish Aztec … Great spirit of the Native Americans … Brindavanam of the Indics … the middle kingdom of the Oriental … and so forth.
The state of the union today … is a matter of great concern to many. In general … it continues in some part as the original union … naturally existing … divided into two or many … in some cultures … and in an emerging world experience today … may be coming back to re-unite itself … in relation to the original union. It makes for an incredible diversity of perceptions … in the world society … each view being held to be entirely true by its adherents.
Our joys and grief … as a world community … comes from the nature of its dynamic relations. We may view that … in the light of the gnosis … or live its manifested view … of the life of the earth. No doubt … the light of the gnosis … continues to propose … a purpose … as regards its changes … and its effects on human life. It also brings to the believer … a way of viewing that purpose …. and to hold fast to the word of God on the issues … that the man might encounter in his life.
But where an individual has moved away from his devotion to its messages of promise … he is led to the study of the physical phenomenon of the world … and to rediscover in that … aspects of his lost faith … and to bring it together … with the other parts of his personality. It is the great vocation of man … and it combines our desires … loves … family … relationships … in both the passion / mind union of the original … and the divided passion / mind of the evolving experience … in the lives we live.
In that … we refer to the original as God … and the divided as man … and we form a covenant with the original … with regards the way … our lives unfold themselves on a daily basis. It is here that we discover the great … Satan … Lucifer … the Devil … who was ascribed the label of ' deceiver ' and ' trouble maker ' … on account of the fact that he may have … founded the thesis of dual natures … that led to speech … and communication. The Greco-Roman divide … eventually affirmed the dual natures … and Latin … then English … became the language of academia.
Speech is certainly a fantastic instrument in a man's grasp of his perceptions. But it probably has not escaped anyone's attention … that speech leads to discourses … that form thoughts and ideas … that rely on the nature of duality … often opposites … in order to support a cause … or ideal. In a review of its impact … on the passions … we observe that … on average a man … does not complete what he says about a specific issue … but says enough to support and maintain his bias.
Hegel … in his nondescript way … referred to complete speech … and ergo … complete meaning ... to the passions … involves … three parts. It starts with the thesis … the anti-thesis … and then the synthesis. Motivation theory augmented the practice … and brought it down to earth … with the model of speech … that commences with cognition … then affectation … and then the conative. In simple English … speech should begin with the facts … then the emotional response … and thereafter … to be accompanied by action.
This closes the gap in the great divide … that man has subjected his passions to … and returns him into accord with the original union … on the basis of understanding of the human condition. In some way it diminishes the appeal of the original union … but augments it … with knowledge. It is the culmination of faith … to arrive into oneness with knowledge … and that is the one way … man learns to manage the divide … in the experience of duality. It would stop the enthusiasm for hunting though. © 2015 Dayran |
