Garrick at Christmas

Raccoons & Gals

"

It'll be Christmas in another 40 minutes. Earlier in the day I had posted a photo of the Christmas decorations at a local mall here onto the forum at ' The Weird Family Group.' Its named as ' rustic woodland ' and it features some tree stumps … a couple of raccoons … and a bear. Its an idyllic scene … with a Christmas tree by the side … and it reminded me of times … when the world looked like it was completely at peace.

The scientific term procyonidae is used to refer to the type of animal that eats with its hands. The racoon is certainly one of them. They walk on all fours … but I'm not sure if you'll call the front limbs feet. Its like one of the photos I saw on the web … that depicted a petite beautiful girl … exposing her tits … and displaying a huge prick … that any man would have envied. I don't know what to call that either. Procyon is the Greek given name for Canis Minor ... the star.

The Greek legends tell the story of Procris … wife of King Cepheus ... whose personality … may resemble something of the raccoon and the girl with the dick.  Its the place people search for … in the pursuit of life's magic. Indic saints undertake severe penance … by fasting and meditating for years … before coming to intuit … the way this place functions in the mind of the individual. It appears like a freewheeling circle of relations … or in a sense … the collective will of humanity … and it creates an influence on the individual … that we know of as being magical or divine … but not much more.

I figured I'll get a better understanding of the phenomenon … by looking up native practices here in Malaysia … to see if there are any distinguishing clues about its workings. There's considerable stuff about the source of the Proto-Malays … in this country … and a new report from University Kebangsaan … points to the journey their predecessors took from Yunnan in Southern China …  settling along the way in the Philippines … Indonesia … and then coming to settle in the Southern part of the country.

There are many reports of encounters between socially trained individuals and native tribes … but they don't mention how the native views his new urbanization experience as a ' creative phenomenon ' … compared to the trained individual who views it as an institutionalized experience. The practice is not unknown in other parts of the world. A young man growing up in a society … experiences the creative magic of childhood … but outgrows it to an extent … by social conditioning.

This is the hallmark of civilization … and a responsible social attitude … would combine both aspects of the magic of creativeness … with social institutionalization … to emerge as the standard of social norm. Such a balance in the mind … is the new place of encounter between the continued wicca practices and the heaven of institutionalized  faith … that encourages learning. To that extent … our studies into divinity issues are very significant … in the way they maintain a balance between the two sides.

Our social practices are well-established on the nature of training … provided to both sides. And while the side of heaven … promotes schooling and tertiary studies on issues … the wicca side … emphasizes motherhood … love … and the development of bodily intuitiveness on issues. In combination as mind and passion … they make for the greatest optimization of life … and produces an experience of the quality of life … that we seek as the end of the rainbow.

The nature of the social activity in the country … therefore reflects the qualities … of the place of magic. Its the basis of the relations … and it cultivates a practice … in which an exchange that takes place in a social setting … is reflected upon by the individual … in his meditations … and is the basis of affirming or denying … the individual's identity in   his place of magic. Its an abstract view but a  healthy exercise of the balance … promotes health … a person's temperament … and makes for a good quality of life.

In the event … that we are viewed as in need of further training … we are necessarily guided to seek the source … of the place of magic … in the grand schemes of creation. That is an adventure we all hanker for as kids … but is dependent on time … and the level of our preparedness … to take on the full Rama. But suffice to say … it engages our needs at the present moment … and introduces to the mind of every individual … their participation … in the collective responsibility of what we are as a world society.

In the life of the passions … and in the training we receive in the life … we encounter again the raccoon and the gal with the dick … as one part of the experience. That's not necessarily Davy Crockett … but we encounter the most bizarre approximations of the experience … from the world around us. And it creates the all important realization that … despite a life devoted to love and care-giving … we are also subscribed to knowledge and mind … to help guide us.

This may engage a new approach to looking at things … something entirely new. It may involve new interpretations of what something means. It may even engage the naming convention … to produce slang terms … colloquialism … that adds to the experience. Teens do it great of course … with the naturally arising rhythm they encounter in the events. That is mixed with the curious wonder they feel … and simply rolls a name of the tongue. Garrick. That just rolled out … as a name … for that place with the raccoon and the gal with the dick. I wonder if it'll catch on?
