Cogito Ergo Sum

Cogito Ergo Sum

I think So

Orion ... the great hunter rose to fame in many stories … in a curious first experience of himself … that is today the stuff of legends. The Indics engaged a similar relation to him … and portrayed him as the King … in their affairs. That certainly clarifies what must have been his previous curious encounters … before rising above them all … as the simple man in relation with the universe … who receives the royal benefit of things just coming together.

I have to confess about being way beyond my depth … on this narrative. I have in my usual practice … deliberately confined myself to human issues and society. Its the protocol … of the lone male human … to relate to the world. This write relates to the universal creative energies.  But I am allowing myself to explore this … with the usual curiosity that engages us … and I have to therefore … take to the hint … that my twin is the active instrument … in this write.

In the same spirit … we raise the issue … was Orion's rise the work of creation? That inquiry pre-occupies us as we begin our peek at  our beginnings in the world … in the context of the social natures … that we have since cultivated. To answer that with a ' Yes ' is to exalt the work of nature or the twin … as we have come to call it. But to say … he was in that way … a thinking individual … who saw in his profound natures … the human cause … and applied himself to their accomplishment … is to refer to his will and ego … on the side of the human.

Certainly in the way we have come to express our expectations in these times … has been informative … as to the past perceptions of the man. Our diet has grown … and we may have come to include in it …  our visions of man's place in the universe … beyond our early beginnings.

At this time in my review of the legends … it appears strange to me that innocence … was represented as being somewhat ' slow ' … in the mind of man … at least the way it was portrayed in the Orion experience. Surely we have all been ' mentally challenged ' … but the social application of a star quality … the way it relates to movie and rock stars … has been to refer to an illuminating attractiveness.

It defies the consideration … that stars are of mind. Instead its a reference to the voluptuous nature of beauty … as if that is portrayed by the universe … in the personality of a person. Science identifies Orion as the birthplace of stars … that emerge from the milky way … and are re-set in the ways of the growing experience of the universe. That refers in an easy way to the birth of babies in every new generation … but the birth of mind?

The Indics … went on to re-work their creation ideas in the 16th C Ce … in relation to mother goddess worship. From the origin of the ' slow ' man idea … they had moved it to King … and then to mother. It implied the realization that it was a woman … at the beginning of creation … that created the universe. They referred to her as ' Athi Parasakthi ' … or the first primordial energy.

As mother … the implication that grows is that … unlike Orion … things didn't just happen … she had actively created the universe from her energies. It brought a startling experience to men … in the Indian sub-continent … and to-date defines the nature of the human experience there … its pathology … and relation to the world. In comparison to Western concepts of Orion … the perception experienced in the East … was to view him as child … in the eyes of the creator mother.

It explains the encounter … we find in our subtle energies … of the male individual as child. The portrayal of Adonais as child … is in relation to Venus … as mother. Psychology theory abounds with a similar view of man … and the born again ethic … certainly points in the same direction. It clarifies the original natures … in man's internal experience … and would support the view that the libidinal experiences of man … start within in innocence … before we learn to apply it … to an object of affection … such as a man or a woman.

The realization puts the modern man today … in touch with the instrument of the creative energy in himself … and we realize that we have been in contact with it all along. I have in the past week … been returning to it … and finding in the return … flashes to my childhood … that are a virtual re-enactment … of my memories. We related to it as children … but in my present experience … I am the witness … to its workings … the way it changes a past record of experience … by revealing to my adult eyes … the actual details in such a review.

Let me paraphrase what I am saying. I'm saying … what I have experienced in my life … is a view raised by my child nature … of the generalities of the human experience. As an adult … as I view … what the child viewed … I find in its details … my identity today … as an accurate reflection … of what I am … in my physical and emotional state of being. It defies the notion … that I have changed. In fact … it calls on me to understand the nature of change better.

In all the views I have encountered regarding time and space … the one view that makes a lot of sense to me is simply what Hegel referred to as desire being the basis of time. In such an experience … time is the experience of man. In the universal experience of the desire of creation … it is expressed as space. Hence time and space come together as the twin representations of an individual's experience in the universe.

The human sensation of desire … its eros components … and libidinal natures rise to form thought … and are defined based on the instruments of perception within. This is supported by the nature of the physical world and universe … that affirm his sensations … by the nature of physical activity. Its a shared understanding by both sides … especially when the Greek view of creation … takes the position of physical activity … and the Indic … that of thought. Neither stands alone … and relate to each other as twins.

Hence the expression ' cogito ergo sum ' … or … ' I think therefore I am ' … is viewed as a representation of speech by two persons or lives. One to think and the other to be … and such is the way … we share our lives with others in the world. And such is the way I put together this write … with my twin.  I … as a lone male human ... do not have a great deal of studied familiarity … with such issues … of the universe.
