An Experiment to Record the Workings of the DAM in Nature

in Relation to the Experiences of the Individual Sri Daran

Hypothesis

On the basis of the observations by Sri Daran, the creative energies of nature, associate themselves with man for the advancement of life in the world. Sri Daran has come to the conclusion that on account of the 40 years of meditation and study he has undertaken, he has refined the workings of his mind to represent a conscious relation and communication with the forces of creation.

Accordingly, he has requested said forces, that he has named as DAM, to help him prove the principle. Following thereon, this experiment is carried out to prove the thesis that man can cultivate a conscious communication with the forces of creation and bring that to the service of man in the world's experience.

Objective

To prove that the creative energies in nature respond to the needs of man and are in relation with him with regards to his faith in a God idea that he is accustomed to practice as belief alongside an active intellect that inquires into the workings of nature's phenomenon.

Definitions

DAM … an acronym engaged by researcher to represent the creative energies in nature. It does not represent a full term. It is however an abbreviation evolved in his meditations … that has formed a long association with other instruments of the creative energies.

Creative Energies … This refers to the physical forces that has created the universe, the solar system, the world, the plants, anima and the human physical condition. The term is engaged with respect to specific processes but where its in reference to large and complex processes, its is termed as creative forces.

Meditation … A practice of self review of the mind and the workings of the ego. These exercises are well established in the practices of faith in the world, including but not confined to the practices of Voodoo, Christianity, Islam, Buddhism and Hinduism.

40 Years … The individual undertook his meditative practice on the issues from the age of 21 to the age of 60 years. During this time, he attended the University of Malaya where he obtained an Hons degree in Economics. Thereafter he worked at several organizations and occupied positions such as Economist, Diplomat, Entreprenuer, Lecturer in Management and English teacher.

During these times he undertook meditative practices at night and on weekends. When he retired at 55, he undertook a full time meditative inquiry into the nature of reality and has been so doing till to-date.

God … Is represented in this research as personal and impersonal qualities of the creative forces. The definition is based on the reports by the Hindu ' Bhagavad Gita ' reportedly authored by the Sage Vyasa ( circa 500 bce to 500 ce ). It presents God as a representation by the human perceptions and God as the physical units of creative energies that comprise atoms, compounds and organisms. The ' Bhagavad Gita ' refers to the knowledge of self as a ' sovereign science.'

In reference to God as the personal, the research refers to its identity as ' divine qualities ' and is not founded on any specific denomination of faith.

Conscious Communication … This represents a communication level that is applied openly and with full realization that the man is speaking to the creative energies. This differs from communication that is undertaken without conscious realization but is undertaken in a sub- conscious or unconscious manner.

Communication between Man and the Creative Energies … This is founded on the belief of the individual, where he undertakes a verbal speech to the creative energies in the environment.

Such a communication in this research was undertaken as follows:

Researcher : ( verbalised ) I … Sri Daran … being of sound mind and body hereby call on the creative energies in my physical environment to listen to my request.

I wish to state my intent to prove my belief in the contact that exists between man and the creative energies. I ask that you assist and support me in my request, with the view, to restoring faith in man in relation to the divine qualities.

There was no discernible response recorded, other than, the researcher's experience of being in contact with certain ' guide qualities ' that he has experienced for the last 40 years.

Communication of Intent … The researcher cut a lime fruit into 4 parts and placed it around the experiment as the physical expression of his volition regarding his request.

Lime Fruit … Selected on account of its sourish taste, in accordance with the researcher's belief that the creative energies contain a sour element to their physical properties. The use of lime fruit is prevalent in Hindu religious practices and its expected that the creative energies, intimated to the researcher, on its use.

Guide Qualities … From the age of 21, the researcher has been in contact with ' voices ' that have displayed several variances in their behavior in relation to him. He expects that, in the way his mind came to be refined, he has contributed to his contact with these ' voices ' who therefore evolved into ' guide qualities ' that shared his interest for bringing these experiences to public attention.

Experiment Venue & Dates … The experiment was undertaken in the room occupied by the researcher at : ( address withheld ) Malacca, Malaysia. The experiment began, three days earlier, in a spontaneous activity at about 10.00 pm on 24th June 2014. The record of the experiment was commenced today at 3.30 pm, the 27th June 2014.

Flower Plant used in Research … In the local Tamil dialect its referred to as ' Maliapoo' … commonly known as Jasmine. The scientific term is … Jasminum Sambac.

Methodology

24 th June 2014

The researcher, in an on-going review of certain specific issues, cut a branch of the plant specie … Jasminum Sambac … that was growing outside the house he lived in. He cut it again into two sections and placed one branch in a bottle of water in his room, in a part he had designated as garden that contained certain plastic plants.

He placed the other branch in a pail of water in the bathroom. Three days later, he observed that the plant in the ' plastic garden ' had sprouted shoots. However the plant in the bathroom pail did not. He then raised the matter with his guides.

Specifically he asked them if they were responsible for the sprouting plant. The intimations he received in a subtle part of his passions indicated to his mind that they had. Thereafter he took a moment to consider the implications and then commenced the recording of the experience as an experiment.

27th June 2014

Commenced an observation of the sprouting plant and the non-sprouting plant. Communicated to his ' guides ' on the nature of the control experiment and informed them accordingly of his interest in isolating their specific responses in the experiment.

The plant in the bathroom pail was transferred to a bottle with water and brought to the ' plastic garden.' The sprouting plant was removed from the ' plastic garden ' and placed on the table in the middle of the room for observation. It is here that the researcher indicated his physical volition to experiment with the creative energies by slicing a lime fruit into 4 parts and placed it around the sprouting plant on the table.

Thereafter the researcher proceeded to record his observations and activity in this report.

Following these the researcher placed the sprouted plant close to the window for sunlight. The non-sprouting plant was left in the plastic garden for a period of 3 days.

Findings

30th June 2014

The researcher proceeded to count the sprouts on the sprouting plant and recorded 7 shoots ranging in length from 3.5 inches to 0.1 inch. The non-sprouting control plant produced 0 sprouts.

Follow Up

Thereafter the researcher removed the plants from the bottles and planted the sprouting plant in the garden. The non-sprouting plant was tossed into an area reserved for burning waste and rubbish.

The researcher then made a request … in the usual way … to repeat the experiment as a validation of the findings he had observed. Accordingly he cut another branch from the plant … Jasminum Sambac … and thereafter cut it into two parts. He placed both plants in the same bottles engaged on the first experiment.

He switched the labels on the bottle … to use the control bottle as experiment and the experiment bottle as control. He then placed both plants near the window and switched their positions in relation to the first experiment.

The researcher used garlic cloves instead of lime in an effort to determine if they will suffice simply as a physical gesture of his request.

It is observed that both plants have fresh shoots on them … each measuring 0.25 inches.

Findings

8 th July 2014

An examination of both plants revealed the following :

The experiment plant had grown a shoot … that measures exactly 1.0 inch in length. A second sprout had just begun but remained at a size of 0.25 inch.

The control plant has 5 sprouts measuring 0.25 inch … but none that had grown longer.

Conclusion

The findings confirm the relation between man and the creative energies.

The results of the second experiment confirm and validate the findings of the first.

Accordingly it is concluded on this basis that man is in contact with the creative energies of the universe. It is indicative of the fact that man and the creative forces form a relationship for understanding each other and work to achieve that in their relationship.

It is found that the God idea relates to the workings of the creative energies of nature. The experiment does not prove the existence of a God idea … but is observed to be dependent on the cultural practices of the individual with respect to what he perceives moves the creative energies of nature.

Recommendation

A further experiment is suggested to isolate the influencing role of lime as against any other fruit ... vegetable or object.
