A Beer BathA Story by DayranCheers!
We come across the term … ' a blood bath ' … sometimes and realize what that means as a picture of horror. But in conveying the expression … people make us aware … that we are a bundle of tissues, bone and blood … virtually draping our entire physical experience. As the physiology of the human … this concerns us in one way … it accounts for our experience of our tissues that make up the skin … and it plays an important part in our self esteem and social relations.
My consumption of alcohol … has not been without some experience of excessiveness. But of late I found a way of slowing it down a little. However it is only when I gained an insight into the effect that creates on tissue and the impact on the social perceptions of the individual … that I started a practice of the beer bath once a month. Its a little different from the all night binges I used to carry on with my work colleagues. Let me explain.
Our tissues are the front line in our physical experiences. An injury or accident that we incur breaks the skin open and causes considerable concern to the forces of life within. In comparison the mind or the passions … make decisions that ignore the peril of injury to the tissues. Nor does the mind involve itself in the health or beauty of the skin condition and complexion as a matter that is contributing to the success of its social relations.
Its taken up another way … and involves an involvement of the yoni/lingga aspect of our sexual impulses. The sexual impulses produce the greatest concern about our skin complexion and its handling of its anxieties. Its a concern of a specialized nature … and the sexual drives rely a little on the beauty of form … as a way of getting ahead in the social field. The mind and passions … on the other hand … dismiss its importance … as cosmetic and superficial … and avoid any serious association with it.
We encounter people who make a specialization of beauty … in their lives … all the time. Fashion models … movie stars … candidates for advertisements … stage performers … and certainly the ladies who do their work best on their backs. They bring a certain passionate touch to speech … the way they carry themselves … and in the way they seem to refer to themselves … as the source of their expressions. Its a detail … most people avoid … and quite often we miss it … in the practices of others.
In Japan … Kobe beef is a premium quality beef … on account of the way the cattle is massaged with beer. I sometimes come across gentlemen with the whiskey shine … on their faces … and it presents a picture of social warmth … and friendliness. I remember how my colleagues used to share in the chatter … of everyday encounters .. around the table … in a beer session. I miss that … especially after retirement … and easing up on the beer intake. So I decided to improvise.
Did a bit of reading on beer … its contribution to the working of the kidneys … and other health aspects of the individual. And I came to realize that I most miss beer … when I'm into a social occasion … meeting someone for the first time … coming across someone good looking … sexy … and then all of a sudden … my tissues get a little squeezed … and I become self conscious. I go home … and in the privacy of my room … the condition grows … and eventually I'm feeling a lump in my throat.
I went out … bought a beer … and figured I would quench my thirst that way. But a strange thing happened. In simply holding the open beer can … in my hand … I could feel my tissues relaxing … and cooling … in the impulses that had come to clamp around my passions. So I went into the bath room … poured the beer into a jug … then used the hands … to apply it all over my body and face. That might have removed a lot of dead skin tissues … but I couldn't account for the release of the clamp … and the sudden feeling of … being free and easy with my thoughts.
It put me in touch with a part of my passions I have not experienced before … and then I realized what it was. Its the attitude of being concerned about the details of looking good … and allowing the tissues … a natural vanity … without pushing or shoving. The Indics have a name for it … Nagama … or dragon/snake lady. That's the nemesis of Xena … the warrior princess … in the series.
The following month … I ran into another clamp … took the beer bath … and this time poured the balance on a cloth … that I put in a basin … in the room. It had the same effect … but this time it opened a few blocks I had … on the Indic concept of Paranthama … and eventually gained the insight that … it might be a female identity of voluptous beauty… and is the social instrument in the world's affairs. Beer has never served me better. And by the way … its Skol … the beer … its Scandinavian.
*A
note of caution … beer contains live culture … and the brewer's
yeast component … acting on the alcohol … body salts … minerals
… is expected to be the active substance … producing the effects
indicated. Washing off … a day later is expected to be important …
to prevent any unintended effects from the yeast.
