regarding the way we experience individualism in the world. Such
expressions accompany an attitude of 'saying it like it is ' … and
would perhaps explain the gap such slang expressions have with the
more staid Brit communication on socially acceptable standards of
practice. The gap is quite revealing of many things.
In the push for civilization … it cannot be denied that man engaged in many convenient definitions of norm that eventually relied on the human ' strength of character ' to uphold it. But to what extent has such ' strength of character ' also translated into ' willful acts of contrivance ' in the pursuit of leadership and glory?
It may explain our present pre-occupation with the individual natures … to understand it better … and to engage it in a new definition of the social natures … including social norms and values. What has become clear in our preliminary experiences is the way individualism … at a subtle level … tends to be a little skiddish as regards ' me and the other ' and has a curious turnaround in meaning … that is not anybody's willfulness … but is indicative of the way the individual qualities function at a subtle level.
Did man begin in ignorance or did he begin with a well developed intellect … at the individual level? And did this individual level guide our activities through the years of the tribal communities … before emerging in the urbanized civil experience? Are there people out there … in different locales … who are intuitive about their roles in such an engagement of the natural intelligence in man? And finally … what is the role of the women … in the process of collating and presenting such intelligence … to the male … in our societies? And is such a practice still continuing?
I have had an interest in slang expressions on account of what they reveal to us regarding the way we engage intelligence and ignorance in a play of purpose in our lives. But the demands of the individual subtle experiences are very exact and if a person cannot relate to an explanation the first time … it appears pointless to try to continue … on account of the fact that the confusion pursues us in our continuing inquiry and adds up.
In the Sanskrit word ' lingga ' … we encounter the American equivalent of ' prick.' No doubt that's borrowed from the female outlook on the experience. But as it moves on to take the term ' c**k ' … it creates a reference to the cockerel that struts about in its colors. Thereafter when the word evolves into ' dick ' we see a greater human identity to the experience … indicating a relational social acceptance of sex. However in referring to my naming the prick as ' rock ' … which I borrow from Indic social practices … the meaning moves on to a non-social experience … that merely prides itself … on self possession.
The change in terminology is an informative chart of the timeline of human experience and provides valuable guides on the way the individual nature identifies itself to the human experience. It takes two to tango … and our early experiences of the prick is expected to be unmindful … playful even … and was much like Freud's pleasure principle of seeking joys. In moving into the social experiences of ' c**k ' and ' dick ' we willfully brought ourselves to name and identify ourselves with the social identities … and taking that to be a true representation of the identity of the self.
Today … the ' rock ' equivalent of the practice … breaks down the ' c**k ' ' dick ' to ascertain anew the nature of the identity of man. It brings us into a deeper sense of self … beyond the merely social … to logically re-enact the experience of the individual from the beginning. What we discover is that … our early individual natures were unmindful … like a dream … and what we pursue today is to bring an informed view of the individual … and to bring that out into a social circle of experiences.
The expression ' tie me to a sow and roll me in the mud! ' … arising as it does from the plain views of the farmer … implies a shocking surprise … at discovering something new. In addition it implies a greater acceptance of our earthly conditions … to which the mind reacts. It may also imply a sexual act … in the void of a social mannerism … to view women as sows. And finally … it implies a humbling experience encountered by an individual … who has come to accept something … he didn't before. It is my considered opinion that … that is Dick.
To say it as it is … is to create a significant reliance on our physical natures … the eyes and our physical condition in life. It defines anew our views and takes away from us the convolutions of our experiences in the past. It spares us the turnarounds in the nature of the individual subtle experiences and makes it more coherent to our understanding. Science has not provided an opinion on the matter … but human insight into the issue seems to suggest the possibility of a deep cross influence between the mind and the dick.
As we bring this into the social circle of relations … it pulls on the pillars of society we have previously constructed. It challenges us to switch from the dick orientation to the mind … in a fair display of our daily activities … that unearths our hidden contrivances. I figure that's fair. Our individual self identity is very particular on being exact … and in spotting our inability to respond to its queries … will carry away our minds … like a Hades taking off with Persephone. And that … is one way we get to find out … if we've got the two sides figured right.
