Seeing with new eyes

There are many people who express a sense of disappointment at what they figure … has been an imaginative sense … led by delusion … and a wanton will. It arises on account of our relation to the physical … needing as we do … an attestation that what arises in us … is a valid creative sense … leading to the cultivation of human happiness. Our trials with regards to it … persuades us to abandon the apparent approval … however … the human condition translates that as a need for further confirmation.

We notice in our habits … the incredible wonder sense … when we engage our issues … with simply one other person. There is no third party to observe … or create comments. However … when a third party emerges … in the form of society … the truth between two people … no longer finds a support with each other … but becomes subject to a verification by social approval. This apparent need becomes very disturbing … in deeply personal and private matters.

However … before society steps in to create a third party view of the relations between the two … what do we call that … which they engaged in the privacy of their thoughts … the whispers of sweet nothings … and the implied promises of the greatest ideals in their experiences? Certainly that is not a delusion … or the imagination of a person. In returning to it … we find it bound with the experiences of oneness … encountered when we first experience anything new.

We subsequently learn to relate that to the imperatives of the social environment … and find that society is in much too much of a haste … to discard the intrinsic experiences of two people in their private thoughts. That certainly is a mark of society … that emphasizes the overall good … as against the love between just two people. It refers to the duties we bear in society … and can in time be reconciled with the romance we so dearly missed … when first in the arms of another.

In coming back to engage the issue … we are bombarded by the persecution … we previously subjected the relation to. But in overcoming it … we realize the need to define anew … the nature of the personal … the individual … and the social self. Chances are we'll settle with a balance between these factors. Its of course not possible … to rediscover our innocence of the first contact … at that late part of our lives.

It reminds me of the writings by the folks … who report on the ' born again ' experience … revealing in the process that they have become the society … that originally broke their innocent sense of wonder at discovery. They become that society … in a part of themselves … that takes responsibility … for the social conventions we encounter … and in applying that with some understanding … they are able to re-cultivate their original love of life … experienced when society was still a dream in their minds.

This brings us back to the issue … of re-discovering our dreams … particularly in the way it flowed naturally from our lack of want … other than to add to the beauty and joys of the earth. In re-attaining the dream … we bring it to a treatment with … our understanding of science and the natural laws. This helps to reduce … the apparent sense of blind innocence … that we appear to have encountered in our childhood experiences.

Thereafter our appreciation for the truth of our affairs … shares its integrity with time … the way a boy grows up to be a man … and the way the world evolves from … a basic understanding of life … to one which is more complex. Its the seasons … and they accompany us throughout our lives in eternity.
