Chap 10 : The Sons of LightsomeA Chapter by DayranOn Self GovernanceThe term ' Aryan ' … in Sanskrit refers to ' someone who knows.' In general … they were considered the progenitors of the human race. What that might mean in today's context … is that they were in contact with some sense of the source of life … figured that they knew the intent of God … and applied themselves … as the initiative … for social and cultural development.
Their advent is expected to be around the period … 1500 bc to 500 bc … after the decline of the Minoan and Vedic age. In the search for an alternative system of beliefs … the Aryans arose … as a warlike people … who worshiped a God of war … and created the all important acceptance … of the experience of duality … in the mind. In some ways … they are observed to have … considered themselves … as descended from the Gods. The purpose … one would suppose … was to move life along … in anyway possible … away from the debilitating split in the mind.
The period prior to 1500 bc … is observed to be a curious experience of oneness … and a simple acceptance … with the passion of the bodies … of the truths of life … brought to them by a mind that was not yet discerning of differences. In the early mix of the passions with the light of the mind … it is expected to have created an experience … of all possible outcomes … in the growing natures of man. It was a period of high positive natures … optimism … and an excitable expectation of the abilities of man.
How did the division first arise? … and what was man's response to it? … concerns us today. We find one possibility of such an experience … in the first establishment of communities … particularly in the Egyptian. In the idea of governance … everyman comes to intuit a sense of the greater good … which is then considered the prerogative of community leadership. It is a representation of the highest thought in man … for it links him to all mankind … and to the world. In giving up this ability … to government … the individual nature of man … is divided against itself and the world … and may when conditions are favorable … consider itself one … but when unfavorable … consider them apart.
This has created a mindset in our societies … to imply that … only when a person is in charge of others … is it possible for him to regain contact with his mind of governance. But quite often … we are unprepared for such an experience … and when the opportunity arises … we grope blindly … and bring our will to the exercise … without realizing that … the mind of governance is first understood with respect to ourselves … before it is applied to others.
Essentially any practice of governance … is an exercise in understanding the nature of man … and to create such organizations of society … that advances the development of humanity. It begins … quite naturally in understanding the individual self … and thereafter … by extension with the relationships … created by the individual … represent itself in public policy. Undoubtedly … it would appear that less is more … in so far as the practice of institutionalized government is concerned.
We notice in our communities today … the Aryan imperative to rule … in the expression of the rights of the majority. The minority population … diminish their identification with governance … and reinstall in their experience … the individual's right to self governance. This is a great aid … in the study of self and self awareness. While the majority creates a common identity with the country and its social natures … the minority brings itself to understand individual natures and in the prospect … to understand the world.
The world wide web has brought a powerful change … to the way we experience governance … both politically and individually. There needs to be a term for people who consider themselves world citizens … rather than to be simply identified with one specific locale. I call it the ' sons of lightsome '… for regaining our individual sense of self governance. © 2013 Dayran |
