Chap 5 The Swans of FotusA Chapter by DayranThe World is an OysterIn the union of the light and the passions of the complete human experience … a person encounters all varieties of experiences … comprising the sea of humanity of the world. Light has also been referred to the swans ... in their representation of the mother experience. Every individual life … is an equation … comprising some part light and the balance as passion. The diversity is simply … impossible to account for. But it is possible to identify broad categories of personalities … consistent with the representation of at least two-thirds of the world's population.
This brings us to the 10 swans ( edit )* of Virgil and the 10 avatars of the Indic dasavarata … both of which has guided the world to its present state. To this I wish to add one additional mother … in the form of the lady Sophia … making it 21 mothers. What can I say … I wish I had a better reference on this than simply to say … its an intimation from the Queen … but there it is.
Perhaps the reason it is so hidden in nature … is due to the fact that … the knowledge of the swans ( Sophy ) … the avatars ( Sohme ) … and Sophia ( the goose ) … relate to a woman's experience of pregnancy. There are many women who'll tell you ...they are simply too intimidated to face up to … the experience of creating life in their own bodies. Then there are those … who'll say … it felt like creating the world.
Accordingly … Buddhist and Indic literature … have relied on presenting the creative ( and reproductive ) experience as the blossoming of the lotus. This corresponds to the highest cakra in the human body … the sahasrara … located at the top of the head … which records the subtle experiences … of the individual. Indic studies of Vaikunta ( Vishnu's World ) and the Hamsa ( Swan ) literature … record the experience … as the creation of the world. In today's experience it may be viewed as the landmass of Pangea … that is expected to have resembled a human foetus … in the watery womb of the seas.
It ought to be emphasized that such a view as that described above … is a representation of the vision … a person may see … in the union of the light with the passions. It doesn't speak … or communicate itself in words … but leaves it to the individual to decide … whether it is an independent vision … outside of any influence by him. I'm of the view that it is … but that has nothing to do with my personal qualities. I'm simply seeing the possibility … of the union … as a world representation … and I figure its a common experience for all mankind.
In the continental drift … that accompanied the Pangea experience … the world's landmass … came to represent the form it does today. In its present state of division … we perceive the view … as Sivaloka ( Siva's World ) … and relating that to the earlier view of Vishnu … as simply one man's experience. We may continue to experience it as such … in the childlike quality … we grow into at times … whether that is a born again experience … logical reasoning inference … or simply old age .
The Indic image of Vishnu lying on the serpent of time … with the creator sitting on a lotus … above him … serves as a popular view of the perception. That provides me with sufficient satisfaction of the issue. I don't intend to create a controversy … but to simply understand … what my culture has been teaching me … and its basis.
To the modern mind today … it may well represent the idea that we have arrived … among the land and the sea … and connect the passion of the world … with the light of the stars. That raises a new conception about creative energies … and assures us that we belong. We are also of the world. I call the combined eukaryote view … Deilokai … while waiting for my peers to suggest whether it resembles … the union of Vishnu's World and Sivaloka … as the human world experience today.
* Virgil's version referred to 12 swans … however the author considers 2 units of swans to be playing dual roles and expects the actual number to be 10. © 2013 Dayran |
