The Tatie of Nymphs Series : IV

In Norse mythology … in a determination of the ways and means of the nymphs … it comes to the view of the muses that … that the nymphs have run out of options … or opportunities in their self cultivation … for any further acts … in relation to the living. They have become obsolete. These are thereafter chosen for an event, by the muses, that surpasses anything they have done before … a play at the immortality of life. They are called the Valkyries.

The individual in the life … in studying the curious direction his life has taken … comes to the inevitable conclusion … after a period of serious meditation … that he has to destroy and reconstruct … whatever is remnant in the life of his nymphs. In consideration of this … our traditions established the Swedenborg and Saivite theology and practice … in an attempt to guide the individual.

In essence it involves … raising all the qualities to be recultivated … in a lifetime … and to allow it to live to the full. This is expected to crash spectacularly after a certain period of time. Thereafter the individual is brought to the realization that … a certain scheme of life from the beginning has totally expired in terms of its usefulness … and he distances himself from its practice. He makes notes of it but postpones engaging it for real.

Thereafter … in another life … in another place and time … in part in the Indic community … he is refreshed on the experiences of the past … and spends his life … recycling or recultivating the former experiences into something new. The view is similar to the experiences of the stars in the milky way … that represent a break down … and are thereafter … born again as new stars … possibly establishing new constellations and galaxies … in the universe.

The American philosopher, Ralph Waldo Emerson is quoted as saying that ' a man is not great for not having fallen, but having fallen is able to rise again.' Such an expression epitomizes the experience of the recultivation of the nymphs in life … and to re-discover the ways and means of creation … its organization and eventual achievement. Life no longer holds back any secrets from such a man.

Those who engage in such an act of recultivation … come to discover something more than a mere fall and reconstruction. They find in their lives … the emergence of a new man … who is self made … and comes to identify with the forces of creation in a very personal way. He makes contact with the intrinsic intelligence of the universe and realizes that it was its plan all along. It is the ultimate expression of its desire to ' knowing thyself.'
