Nuts!

The Human Bond Series : IX

In the old days when a man wanted to trap a monkey … he would place a empty coconut on the ground tied to a tree. He'll place some peanuts in the coconut and make a small hole just right for the monkey to insert his hand. But once the monkey grabs a fistful of the nuts he won't be able to take his hand out of the coconut. And there he'll stay till the trapper comes to pick him up.

 

Its a curious exercise in logic for an animal who has not trained to think in order to save his own life. There are people who might advance the suggestion that the life force has the intelligence to save him … but beyond the knee-jerk doesn't the life force rely on the conscious understanding of the mind?

 

The issue is a serious one for the life force … in our case the human specie. There are those trained in the development of the psychic arts who imply by their writings of an external force that guides our lives like a custodian in charge of our care. But isn't this mysterious custodian also dependent on the engagement of our minds to do that?

 

In advancing into my own practices of self-realization I encountered quite a bit of the remnant of activity engaged by past forces on the exercise of the mind. It was a curious package of plays, arts, faith, schemes, mathematical equations and the like … that was utilized as a way of life. I managed to trace some of these to the early civilizations like the Persians, Greek, Indic , Assyrians and so forth that continues to be a basis in some way for our logical thought today.

 

I'm pleased to say however that they do not represent a falsity or misguided notion on the quality of life … on the contrary they represent a demonstration of the need for man to continue to build his own scheme of thoughts even as we advance into the 21^st Century. In addition … they help us to shelf areas in our vast mind of experiences, issues that we haven't encountered yet.

 

I did however come upon the place of the so called custodian … in the experience of the human … with regards to creation. Through one half of eternity … half of the eternal custody holds together the knowledge of being while the other lives the life … then the order is reversed. I'm intimated to say … one half is the human and the other … the advanced specie of the future.

 

It does bear a semblance of relation to gender … but any further inquiry runs into a wheel of maybe/s … that is not yet ready to reveal its position. Oh! … the monkey? … train its anima qualities to release the nuts … what else?
