Freud referred to the two aspects of reality and illusion as the principle categories in the way that man relates to his environment and identifies with himself. He added however that what is experienced as reality or illusion may be different for different people. We may be bringing ourselves to view this today as the principle difference between the experiences of the male and female genders.

A lack of further research in the area persuades me to engage my own insights. It is my opinion that in a male life the living experience of the man constitutes primarily a thesis based mind-set of his experiences. In a subsequent life as female, the woman brings to the former experience of the thesis the aspect of love and completes the experience of the thesis and transforms it into a living experience. Like a sandwich this continues its development in the cycle of lives.

On this basis we see the probable  aspects of self love, ego, the libido factor and the the orientation of the man to the male and female halves of the world experience. We also see in the scheme the experiences of a balanced view, God and the apparent fall of the man who disassociates from the female relation and attributes it to his own greater self.

There is both a complementary relation and relative completion in the nature of the experience. There is man and the progeny experience, the woman and the continuity of life, the child and the parents … and the individual male and female experience. It appears certain however that the experience will be preserved for the duration of the human specie development and we may be persuaded on account of it to understand better our lives.

In the male culture the imperative of the man to know for certain and to affirm his virtue in the knowledge of his experiences … as pioneer, pathfinder, opinion maker, relation to God … is very strong. In many of the world's societies this is held up to be the epitome of the true male. In different ways we appear to be transforming the experience from the hunter warrior to a greater civility of our natures but the premise remains the same.

In recent times the competitive will between man and woman for the curious position of ' King-maker ' is very revealing of the way the loftiest of our experiences is experienced by both genders. Perhaps we discovered in the encounter a better way to balance our relations … together with the needs of individualism … and perhaps to understand for the first time ... what a well-informed individual nature is.
