Its a sad and irascible feeling to think sometimes that someone else is privy to gain that is denied to ourselves. It draws on our own volitional natures of giving … and with spite and vengefullness we hold back our propensity to give … ' why should I when others don't.'

 

We'll have to say such an attitude is entirely reasonable … nothing wrong with it at all! Which is why the day we return to unravel this part of our attitude we do it with a profound new realization of the situation … and perhaps of life itself.

 

Its the new understanding … of the totality of our experiences … one world … and a source of creation that reveals itself in its pristine nature of togetherness. We shy away from calling ourselves naive … and build a powerful justification for our actions that only we are able to understand in the citadel of our experience of oneness.

 

Philosophers refer to such a condition as ' the field of all possibilities ' … what it feels like in reality …  is a donk who'll believe anything … particularly since everything viewed a certain way does appear to be true. The recourse is to bring into application only issues relevant to our needs, inquiries, dissatisfaction, universal fairness or the will to regain our lost natures.

 

The contact with life forces in our everyday social life comes slowly to everyone's perceptions. For instance that incident at the 7/11 that took the life of that young man from the neighborhood … how it galvanized the entire neighborhood against crime … and re-introduced the element of our common concerns creates a powerful affirmation of life's survival. It reaches out to what we thought was our loss of contact with our positive and optimistic natures.

 

American companies today control and manage the markets for fast moving consumer goods in virtually every country around the world. Names like Procter & Gamble, Colgate-Palmolive, Coke, Pepsi, R.J. Reynolds, Nike, Avon … with production facilities on large scale, prices that are impossible to beat … build a resignation by corporate local entrepreneurs to get into a long list of simple products like soap, shampoo, chewing gum, carbonated drinks, sneakers, shavers, deodorants and the like.

 

However, the effect on the identity of the person goes much deeper … it carves out of their natures any relation to commercialization of these household products in such a way as to suggest that it is not their concern … never was. For a local entrepreneur today to consider venturing into such products … it is a new beginning … nothing that his father or past generations ever created a guide on. He'll have to view the product need and attempt to understand local needs better than the foreign producer. There are a few successful companies taking the initiative.

 

That is the consideration we bring to our position on cloud 10 … to reorganize the naive into a statement of our needs where we are and to channel it into a new achievement not undertaken before. It is admirably suited for it. It draws on the life force for a new realization ... and we make contact with ourselves in ways we thought lost. The effect is quite stimulating … it re-discovers our personality as human ... it refreshes our experience of oneness with the world … and our place in it.
